Central London Green Skills Partnership


We are delighted to announce the launch of an exciting collaboration between further education providers, working together with industry to help people develop the green skills necessary for our journey towards net zero. Funded by the Department of Education, employers and the local community in Central London will soon be able to access high quality teaching and learning in low carbon energy technology. The range of opportunities includes advice and guidance for anyone thinking of working in the green jobs sector, through to industry approved practical courses to install and maintain solar panels, air source heat pumps, solar thermal and electric vehicle charging. We will also be offering courses to help kick-start a career in understanding domestic retrofitting and energy efficiency in older buildings.
Key project partners include employer and industry bodies, including MCS – the industry standard body for low carbon energy technology.

This means being taught by staff with relevant industry experience, using up to date equipment, and being in a learning environment which supports the development of skills, knowledge and behaviours necessary to provide a professional service to customers.
